What is LUMENAURA?

LUMENAURA is the City of Aurora’s unique annual experience that transforms downtown Aurora into a glowing wonderland of immersive light and sound. Stroll through mesmerizing art displays, interact with artistic soundscapes, and enjoy a magical, family-friendly adventure—completely free! Don’t just see the lights—step into them!

When and where is LUMENAURA?

For 2025, LUMENAURA runs from Friday, October 10 through Sunday, October 26 in Downtown, Aurora, Illinois.

How do I sponsor LUMENAURA?

A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available, including the ability to custom design a package. Contact [email protected] for more information!

Is each night of LUMENAURA the same?

While the anchor installations will remain for the entirety of LUMENAURA, there will be a variety of performances, roving performers, and art experiences rotating throughout the event.

Do I need a ticket to attend LUMENAURA?

LUMENAURA (10/10/2025) and LUMENAURA Fest Weekend (10/12/2025-10/13/2025) are FREE to attend!

Food and beverages will be available for purchase during LUMENAURA Fest Weekend.

Are pets allowed at LUMENAURA?

Leashed pets are allowed in common areas in the downtown area. However, if you plan to visit individual businesses, please check their policy.

Will there be food and beverages available at LUMENAURA?

Food and beverages will be available for purchase via food trucks during LUMENAURA Fest Weekend (October 10-12, 2025).

How do I navigate between each installation?

Can I view LUMENAURA from my vehicle?

While some installations may be visible from your vehicle, it is best to experience LUMENAURA up close and personal as you walk through downtown Aurora!
